Advocating for Students, Educators and Our Community

  • Take Action Locally

The Shoreline PTA Council supports the local unit PTAs within the Shoreline School District by providing information, training, resources and opportunities to network with each other, giving them the tools to be successful child advocacy organizations.

Shoreline PTA Council provides the framework, support and tools for our local PTAs so they may reach their own goals and achieve the overall mission of PTA. Council also provides programs that serve our families with the support of the local PTAs.

  • Take Action Statewide

The Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA), is the largest non-profit, volunteer organization in Washington. As the premier parent organization, with over 80,000 members in more than 830 local PTAs, the association is an innovative, forward-thinking, and effective advocate for children.

Well-informed, engaged parents make a difference for student success in school and beyond.

  • Take Action Today

    Contact your State legislators

You can make a difference by contacting your elected representative.

Funding has also dropped by $1,000 per student over the past 5 years.

Our schools face key gaps funding for special education, utilities and insurance, transportation, and staffing.
